Fantastic thorough Dr. She took longer than the alloted appointment time to assess my Mother properly. Her diognosis & acting quickly on it has saved my Mothers life. My family are so grateful. And what a lovely lady.

The service at Parkwood in general has blown me away. The admin staff, the way in which it is run, and all the staff there. I've never had a negative experience which is in stark contrast to my experiences at previous surgeries in the North of England. But the best word to describe Dr Greening is "brilliant." When you read the following, bear this in mind: - I have seen at least 30 different GPs in the last 15 years - due to having an extremely complex medical history – which includes crohn’s disease – and I’ve also moved around a lot because of my job. Over the years I've educated myself as much as possible about my disease in order to stay healthy. When I was first diagnosed with Crohn's, I did exactly what every doctor told me. In my 20s, I believed that it was logical to do what I was told. However - I got 'stung' a couple of times by advice/treatment from some doctors, and this nearly cost me my life (more about this later, if you can be bothered reading it) Why Dr Greening is a fantastic GP: 1. Her collaborative approach. I have always strongly believed that the doctor/patient relationship should be a collaborative one where at all possible, this is the approach I've always taken. Dr Greening is a rare breed of doctor that believes in the same collaborative approach. I DO appreciate that there are limitations to this - a search in Google is NOT = to 30 odd years of medical training and experience! And yet, she works with me, and doesn't dismiss me. 2. She is a kind, caring human being and completely approachable. She listens. She clearly has a scientific and logical mind - I can tell this from her approach - but she is not distant (like many doctors are). Yet, she is also 100% professional. When I book an appointment, I'm not expecting to see someone who considers me friend. Nor should it be this way - as there does need to be a little bit of emotional distance on her part in order for her to be effective. However, I do at least feel that I'm meeting with someone treats me as an intellectual equal (despite my being several IQ points below her). 3. She treats me as a fellow human being. When I go see Dr Greening, I do not feel like a walking collection of symptoms, or collection of organs, bones, tissue and skin. She has the human touch. However, she also has the right balance between being warm and caring, whilst also managing to be clinical and professional. Unfortunately, this combination of complex and long history + Google can make me 'hard work' as a patient. I realise that I don’t know it all, but probably come across that way. However, I have an incurable disease that can be deadly, and very painful. Therefore, quipping myself with the right knowledge to help manage it. This can be useful, but also dangerous and obsessive, and ultimately quite destructive if you're in the wrong state of mind. She's the only GP in the last 10 years where I've actually done 100% what she has told me to do - which includes "Stop Googling!" Dr Greening has my complete confidence. And this is from someone who thinks she knows it all! Sidenote: Now, if you can be bothered, here is one of many reasons why I had developed a deep mistrust and fear of doctors in general: 10 years ago, before my 2nd resection, I went to a GP about numbness/pins and needles in my feet, heart palpitations, and also numbness in my face and hands. I would wake up with this in the middle of the night. And in the morning. I saw the doctor, who told me, definitively, that this was down to panic attacks. Two days later, I was hospitalised. Not only did I require emergency surgery for an intestinal stricture, but my potassium levels (an electrolyte, vital for heart functions) was SO LOW that I would likely have had a heart attack within days. At the very least. It was the low potassium which had caused the symptoms that the GP had ruled out as 'panic attacks.' There have been other experiences though, and as a result, I question decisions/diagnosis if I don’t agree. A lot of consultants and doctors get really annoyed with me. I get it – no one likes to have their professional judgement questioned. But I know my own body. I'm happy to have a discussion about it - I just don't want to be sneered at by someone who thinks that he/she is better than me because he's got a medical degree, and told: "You're completely wrong, and that's that, end of discussion. And if you disagree, we will discharge you under the zero tolerance policy." Dr Greening listens, and collaborates to me. When she doesn't agree with my view, she will explain why, and I will therefore back down. Here ends my review. In short – Dr Greening, you’ve restored my faith in the medical profession.

Dr Greening was professional, caring, thorough and just how a GP should be, I left after seeing her feeling that I could trust her diagnoses and feeling reassured that I had been listened to. She is a fantastic GP and if the surgery was full of GP's like her then it would be outstanding, unfortunately there are not enough like her.

Dr Greening is an amazing doctor, I am suffering with really bad depression after loosing my baby, she sat me down listened and let me cry my heart out. she listened to everything that I had to say. I think Dr Greening went the extra mile with me as she sent me off for a blood test to make sure there was no underlining problems. she arranged to see me again the following week with my blood results and asked how I was feeling. some of my results came back that she felt i needed another test to make sure that in a few weeks things might have changed before taking the next steps. thank you Dr Greening you are the best and I cant fault you in anyway. I look forward to our next appointment in a few weeks time. I feel that Dr Greening is not just a doctor but she's someone that cares and that will go that extra mile for you.
