The process has been more emotional than I expected, and i really appreciate the care during our meetings. He has a lot of knowledge and interest, and I didn't feel uncomfortable talking to him at all. The improvement I've seen in myself is so stark since Dr Obuaya prescribed the adhd medicine. Its like night and day. He got it spot on first time I think. He was really happy for me, but also concerned that the pills made my tourettes worse and quite painful. I know he can't treat my tourettes, but he looked into something to help the tics alongside my adhd medication. He also gave me next steps for the next 6 months to keep me on track. I can get in contact with him/the adhd clinic if I need their advice. It's probably not something they (the clinic) need to be focusing on, but I've often heard there is a link between tourettes and adhd. It would be cool if there was some more knowledge about tourettes - but we didn't speak about this for very long so I can't comment on this knowledge. Not so much a negative, but every clinic is so separate. Some crossover could be useful.

I really did not wish to write this review, but reluctantly do so. I spent many hours researching Dr Chi-chi and other Drs for an adult ADHD specialist. He has excellent reviews but my son did not receive that experience. He was very upset with the ability of Dr Chi-chi to reply to his concerns with respect to medication. This was severely lacking. I do not know if Dr Obuaya was having a bad day or maybe his patient manner has regressed but I sadly can not recommend him. My son is not a person who is fussy when it comes to medical support, but he felt unheard and henceforth was upset. We have moved over to a different specialist now who has shown a strong willingness to be helpful when responding to concerns and who has not belittled them.

Dr Obuaya is a fantastic and very reliable specialist, every letter to my GP and as well as prescription were processed smoothly and quickly. He listened to me very attentively and prescribed medication that works brilliantly and helped my condition a lot. Definitely would recommend Dr Obuaya to anyone.
