I saw Dr Canniff for the first time on Monday and felt she listened to me and acted appropriately to my concerns. She also organised the next appointment. I would not expect any better treatment for a first appointment.

I have been under the care of Dr Canniff for a number of years. I feel she knows my medical history, I never feel I am wasting her time when I see her. She listens to me, she advises me, and I always feel she takes the appropriate action when necessary or reassures me if no referral or medication is required. I totally trust her judgement. She was wonderful to my mother who died last year after a very horrible illness. She cares for my daughter who has rheumatoid arthritis which brings all sorts of issues and requires a special understanding. Nothing is ever too much trouble for her. I think it’s a rare quality to be a proper family doctor, and it’s a relationship every patient would like to feel with their doctor. Dr Canniff is that doctor for me, and I am sure for all her other patients too. The only problem with the surgery is that you can't always easily get an appointment for who you want to see, but I would always rather wait to see Dr. Canniff than struggle with communicating afresh with someone else.
