I have been a patient of Dr Thenuwara's since he started at Davenport House over 10 years ago. I have always found him a caring and helpful doctor especially during some very difficult times we have had as a family over the past five years. He has taken care to understand the situation and has really tried to help in every way he can and is always very pleasant. I am certainly happy with him as my doctor.

This Doctor is extremely rude who hung the phone up on me after I explained to him that I ended up taking my 3 year old son to A&E because the wait of 4 hours for a doctor to call me back was too long a wait, considering I received a call whilst at work from my son's nursery asking for me to pick him up ASAP because of a rash that they were worried about that had appeared. However, instead of the Dr explaining that he had been really busy which was why he took so long to call me back he decided it best to slam the phone down on me after stating that 4 hours was not long at all for a minor! he was clearly angry that i had taken the decision to take my son to A&E rather than wait with baited breath for his call!. This Dr is unprofessional in his conduct to the patients of his surgery. In my case I was a worried patient who rushed from work in London all the way back to Harpenden to a son who was not well. To be told i could have waited 4 hours for a call back from the Dr rather than take my son to A&E is not a comment a worried parent wants to hear. Who would be sorry if anything should happen to my child? the Dr? i think not!
