I could not suggest any greater way I could have been cared for. The events that took place with me were scary and I was very well looked after. Dr Chandu ensured he kept me up to date with what's happening and what to expect. I was informed of in good depth what might be happening with my body. Recieving the education of my symptoms and of the results of my investigations kept me calm. I was able to act upon how much I knew to ensure I kept myself well and safe when away fro the hospital setting. Dr Chandu has been very kind and very professional throughout my care. In times like today, with current Covid 19 pandemic, Drs like Dr Chandu are few. Patients should feel safe and as though a Dr is genuinely interested in their wellbeing. Drs often use jargon and forget to explain what things actually mean, Dr Chandu explains things very well. A very respectful and genuine professional. A generally kind human being with a sincere level of empathy and a passion for his job. I wish Dr Chandu all the best of luck with his future and am glad the likes of him are in the NHS. Thank you very much Dr Chandu, myself and my family are eternally grateful!

My mother was treated by Dr Chandu at Queens Hospital following a fall. He cared for her with great calm and compassion. He was respectful at all times and made her feel at ease after a very nasty fall. He was very thoughtful to her aftercare and ensured that both my mother and myself were happy with her care before discharging her. His manner is so reassuring and for an elderly person this makes all the difference. I am proud that we have doctors like Dr Chandu working at Queens and they are an absolute role model of not only PRIDE but of kindness when it is needed most. Both my mother and my family thank you for your care.

Doctor Chandu treated me for symptoms associated with a severe reaction to an antibiotic which was prescribed to treat suspected blood poisoning. I was in A & E Observation ward 20th April 2020 I was treated with dignity and respect by Doctor Chandu and by Julie the nurse. Communication with my son was prompt and informative both with oral and in electronic messaging. Communication with me was direct and clearly stated for treatment options. Treatment given effective and carefully applied with reasoning’s given at all stages. Dr Chandu listened to my wishes and my concerns, an excellent bedside manner which too often is missing in today’s busy society. All over faultless treatment. Julie the nurse was excellent in her manner and treatment. When things go wrong the public are quick to criticise, so it is only right that when treatment is swift and effective and NHS staff are efficient, kind and supportive praise and a faultless service are recognised. Im very grateful to Doctor Chandu and Julie the nurse and our thanks must be passed on to them.
