Having met Dr Chandu Wickramarachchi for the first time during a recent visit to A+E I can confidently say this experience has been an absolute pleasure. A true gentleman passionately committed to his work and prepared to go above and beyond to provide help and support to people like myself struggling with health. A shining light of an example representing both the NHS and himself as a doctor. Truly gratefgul Many thanks Matt

Although extremely nervous at this time to visit a hospital I was put at complete ease by this dr, he listened and acted with speed, professionalism and I can honestly say he is a credit to the nhs and I am thankful to have been under his care.

This doctor went above and beyond the call of duty. In very difficult circumstances he showed great compassion and put me totally at ease after a very difficult two days of uncertainty. He was very professional and friendly in his follow up approach. He is, without doubt, the kindest and best doctor I have encountered for many many years.

#sayThankYou

Thank you so much for your care while in A&E. I was in a lot of pain and Dr Chandu was great. He explained everything to me and handled my care with great professionalism and made me feel at ease. The after care was explained to me in great detail and he e mailed me to check on me and kept me informed throughout. I had Kidney stones which I have never had before and Dr Chandu went well beyond to make me feel better and to make sure everything was done to help me. He is a great example of a great Doctor and the best one I have ever had the pleasure to meet.

Chandu treated me in A&E at Queen’s Hospital. He was very good. I found him reassuring and he gave me full information on what was happening to me and what my treatment would involve. I felt in safe hands when on my own with no family member with me. Above all he was so kind. He took time to let my husband know how I was getting on in the early morning and at the end of his shift. He is one of life’s Angels who you rarely meet along the way. what a wonderful Doctor he is. A big thank you to Wonderful Chandu. Helen Andrews
