I have been with Dr. Chander Khemani for around 15 years now. I am probably not the best patient but Dr. Khemani has been absolutely fantastic with me.
For the last 8 years I have been diabetic and am now insulin dependant. In the first few years of my diabetes I guess I was in some kind of denial and not good at making appointments for check up's as I should have. Dr. Khemani is the only Doctor I have ever known who would leave messages on my phone and persue me for checks, flu jabs and tests.
Even though I am now with a specialist for my diabetes care Dr. Khemani has maintained her responsibility to my care and has even been proved to be correct in her diagnosis of my being type 2 when the specialist insisted I was type 1. Dr. Khemani asked that I resume taking Metformin when the hospital insisted it was doing nothing to help me as a type 1. I resumed taking the Metformin and the improvement was significant.
I highly recommend Dr. Chander Khemani to anyone seeking a new practise.
