I have seen Dr Battercharjee several times over the years. A very experienced, knowledgeable doctor who explains his diagnosis well. Can sometimes be a little reserved when speaking to him but seems to get to the most benefiicial treatment immediately. There has been times in the past when he has disagreed with other doctors (within the practice) choice of medication/ treatment which has made a family member feel as if it was his fault. Anything to do with joints, spinal pain, nerves etc he is the doctor to see. In the past I had a spinal problem for years which gave me lots of difficulties in the last 10 months up to my treatment. I had seen various doctors, physiotherapists etc. I saw Dr Bhattercharjee for the first time one morning and by the afternoon I was in the LGI having spinal surgery. What a relief physically and mentally. Thank you. Very grateful for your speedy decision to take action immediately.

I have been a patient of Dr.Bhattacharjee for 5 years now,and have always found him to be caring, patient, and interested in helping me with any issues I have. Also, when being put on a call back ,he is usually prompt in making his call, for which I am grateful. He has helped me a lot to do with pain relief especially since my hip replacement 3 years ago. 1 just wish it was easier to make an appointment, though that is no fault of the Doctor ,more the NHS system.

I have only had an appointment with Dr.Bhattacharjee on one recent occasion, but he listened well, carried out some simple appropriate tests, and immediately followed this up by explaining what the next steps needed to be, and while I was there, dictated a letter to the hospital, checking with me that I was happy with what he had written. He gave me a rough idea of want the timescale of being seen at the Hospital was likely to be, and how he would want to see me three weeks after that.

No problems with appointment diagnosis of my condition. However, after service could be dramatically improved. For example, I was asked by the doctor to see him again in 6 weeks but your systems do not allow him to make the appointment himself or me to go to reception and do so unless it is within 1/2 weeks of the allotted request! Crazy that you do not use your IT to fix this. how many guys like me with busy workloads will not make the second appointment because we have not put it in our diary to do so once we leave the building? One final minor point/question on follow up. Could a shoulder steroid injection treatment recommend physio as part of my rehabilitation or at least give me some handouts/guidance on useful movements?
