I was diagnosed with a condition and prescribed medication without ever seeing a doctor, I only spoke to her once on the phone I then had to just get messages via reception, when I've requested blood tests to review my medication these have been refused, I've requested to see a Dr about my condition but the gp surgery have consistently failed to give me an appointment, not good enough.

I cannot recommend this doctor enough. On both personally seeing her and more importantly the care of my son with whom Dr Hughes has always been patient, thorough and compassionate. I never feel rushed or that my concerns are insignificant. A truly dedicated professional.

Dr Hughes is the best GP I have been to see as a patient, not just at this practice but the other 3 I have been registered at. She listens to you, explains things to you, and puts your wishes at the centre of your treatment/ care. Whether it is something routine, or something complex she deals with it in a confident, caring, and empathetic way. I have been to see her with a variety of issues and have always come away feeling I have received the best care I could possibly have had.
