I couldn't agree anymore with all the positive comments. I was/am devastated that she has left the practice, wherever she has gone is a 'huge' bonus to the new establishment. Amazing lady with amazing knowledge and took time to listen to you. Although I didn't use the practice a lot, she remembered so much about me and my work etc. I was so delighted when my baby was born last year to think she would be her doctor, but now she's gone I hope my child never goes sick! If anyone knows which practice she has moved too, please let me know !

I am utterly devastated that Dr Fenlon has left French Weir. I can honestly say she is the best GP that I have ever had (and I'm 50!!). She has been my GP there for 19 years. I hold her in the highest regard; she is utterly professional, incredibly knowledgeable and very friendly. She has the most fantastic recall and remembers even the smallest detail that is important to her patients. She never hurries you out, giving you as much time as you need. This, I would say, is amongst her greatest strengths. You can totally trust that she is saying the best thing for you and is interested in you as a person, not just as a patient number. All GPs would do well to learn from her. She is a very special GP, the like of which I do not believe I will ever meet again. A huge loss to French Weir who I feel should have tried much harder to keep her.

I am devastated that Dr Fenlon has left Frenchweir. Dr Fenlon is the best GP that I have ever come across. All trainee GPs should adopt her as their role model. She has been my GP for 17 years and has seen me through some very tough times. Her breadth of knowledge is immense. Her memory for detail amazing. Her welcoming smile and manner puts you at ease immediately. She never hurries you and you feel confident in confiding in her. Anything that needs actioning happens immediately and she follows up with a phone call to you to make sure that everything is OK. My whole family will miss her dreadfully.

She was my GP for most of my life and was incredible as a doctor. She is a wonderful, incredibly caring, knowledgeable, empathic, exceptional GP. She will be truly missed and I wish her all the best.

Just a note to add to all the others to say how sorry I am to hear that Dr Fenlon is leaving the practice at such short notice. My mother and I requested a move to Dr Fenlon having been not entirely satisfied with the doctor with whom we had been originally allocated. It was not an easy thing to do, the practice was not entirely sympathetic, but she took us on willingly, and has supported us, and my children for the last 14 years. Always willing to listen and to explain, not just write a prescription. She had an empathy and understanding that is rare in individuals, and almost unheard of in GPs. And all wrapped up in friendship and humour. Other doctors would do well to take notice of these reviews. I do wish her all the best for the future.
