This GP really listens to her patients. After an operation in hospital, she's called me at home to check on me, and how it went. She isn't ever judgemental and offers real choices rather than dictating her preferred options - in all areas, including (rarely) reproductive and mental health. I'd not dream of another doctor for my son, who is due in November. She remembers every detail of her patients' lives and histories, and is a thorough and careful doctor as well as a genuinely lovely human being. My husband is so impressed by her care for me, he's now switching practice.
Only problem is she is so popular getting appointments requires calling as soon as the surgery opens - wait even half an hour, and no dice.
