After waiting a month for an appointment, I was seen by this doctor. When I explained to her that I had a few concerns, she said she only had 10 minutes as they made a mistake at the reception when booking me in, and I was a "walking clinic patient". I said to her that I had been waiting for a month for that appointment and that I had booked it then. I discussed my concerns and requested a blood test as I have family history with low red and/or white cells. She said I didn't give her enough reason for her to send me for a blood test. I discussed the will of checking if I have diabetes. She said you seem perfectly healthy and not overweight. She asked me to jump on the weight and she realised that I was overweight - 165cm 73kg. She said my 10 minutes were up and I would need to make another appointment. I told her that I had to take time off work for that appointment. I told her that I had a private medical insurance and that I would appreciate if she could write me a referral letter to get the blood test done privately. But she said she couldn't because she had no reasons. I told her that I had just given her my reasons. Plus, at not point I was examined or anything. So how can she indeed have reasons? I was very surprised and very disappointed of my practice which I have been registered in for 4 years. This is the first time I have been treated like this. I went back to my practice for another issue and I was warmly welcomed by the Practice Manager. I was seen by another doctor and asked to be allocated to that doctor as I felt to be taken seriously by him. Thank you

This doctor has really helped me out over the past year and I am so grateful for her hard work with my complex medical conditions. She has gone over and above my expectations especially in a NHS under such pressure. I highly recommend her!

I was seen on time by a nice, caring doctor. She was efficient, competent and managed to deal with my problem in the appointment. I had another issue to discuss but I understand GPs only get 10 minute appointments and was happy to come back again. The medication she prescribed was very helpful. I would definitely recommend her!

After waiting 2 weeks for an appointment I agreed to see this lady doctor as my own was not available for another week. From the outset she told me she only had 10 minutes and as I had a number of ailments to discuss, I should choose the most important ones! I managed to discuss 2 of my problems, Arthritis in my toes and a swollen knee, which she examined whilst sitting on the chair. I then said I needed a referral for my little finger which had fractured ( I did not realise it was broken until I had it x-rayed abroad)earlier in the year and had healed but was out of shape and was very very painful. She said my 10 minutes were up and I would need to make another appointment. I pointed out that it takes a long time for appointments, I was there now and why could she not write me a referral. She insisted she had no time left for me and was happy to make me another appointment for 2 weeks later! I refused as I was very upset by this time. I have waited over 20 minutes to be seen in that surgery and know for a fact that people are being seen longer than 10 minutes. I feel she was deliberately rushing me and could easily have dealt with my issue. I have been at this surgery for over 30 years and this is the first time I have been treated like this. I have told all my family and friends not to book this doctor, just in case they need to see a doctor for longer than 10 minutes. Thank you
