I have seen Dr. Bharati at a private hospital. She is very caring, helpful and persistent when it comes to my chronic pain! She listened and took, what I had to say, very seriously. I highly recommend Dr. Bharati if you want your pain to mitigate.

Dr Vyawahare always listens to you, understand your point of view and has been a great source of help and hope to me. She made it clear all the possible treatment plans, but now down to me to choose. This is important as I think nowadays people expect everything to be curable when somethings are down to poor lifestyle. She is honest and efficient. Some of her theatre team last time I was there were such in a hurry and did not seem to be doing much? (last procedure on Friday). She was the only person who greeted me and spoke to me through out the procedure. Very professional and empethatic.

I found the Pain Management Clinic to be a mixed experience. Dr Bharati Vyawahare was very patient and took the time to listen to how my pain affects me. For the most part I felt she understood me, but there were times when I felt she'd misinterpreted what I was saying, and telling me that I felt less pain than I actually do. It's sometimes hard to explain exactly how the pain feels in different positions and circumstances (i.e. walking or sitting on a chair as opposed to sitting on the toilet). Overall Dr Vyawahare was very kind and listened attentively. I was disappointed by the options on offer to reduce my pain. I did not feel convinced that a steroid injection to my abdomen would work, and I don't like the idea of going on antidepressants with the objective of curing neuropathic pain. It's a shame there isn't something that can be taken orally that doesn't have an effect on your mental health. There were no other options suggested to me. Dr Vyawahare was happy to refer me for psychological support. She was helpful and eager to go whatever she could do help me. She examined my stomach and her manner was gentle and caring.

I had an initial appointment where my symptoms were discussed along with a health physio and it was decided, if I wanted, a nerve block injection was the next step forward. I went in for the nerve block and the whole team were really caring. Dr. Bharati Vyawahare explained everything and made sure I understood and was comfortable with what she told me. I was made very comfortable and the injections were fine with no pain, just a little sensation. Afterwards the nurses made sure I was feeling OK and the Dr. came to check I was fine too and also explained how to look after myself afterwards. All in all a very comfortable experience with a very caring and attentive team. I haven't noticed any benefit from the injections yet but am hoping some improvement will happen soon.

Excellent explanation of condition, what may have been the cause, options and risks of the proposed procedure and it's expected benefits.
