On the few occasions we have needed to seek medical attention, Dr Martens has been very professional, approachable, knowledgable and helpful. We have felt listened to and he has been appropriately reassuring and pragmatic. A refreshingly positive GP experience.

I had to deal with this man as my elderly father was terminally ill and I was seeking information and support. Dr Marten's was unable to explain things well and actually shouted at me on two occasions. He also prescribed potentially harmful medications for years.
When I complained to the GMC I was informed that staff at Dr Marten's practice "frequently dealt with patients upset by Dr Martens" and that "NHS Highland were also aware of a previous complaint about the doctor's manner".
Why is he still allowed to practice?
