Ben is simply brilliant. He thinks deeply about a patient's care (often out loud!) and is reassuring. He is clearly au fait with clinical developments and the appropriate application and adaptations to the patient. Ben is approachable, caring and kind. He knows when to take the lead and when to listen to the patient. He has made our journey through teenage acute leukaemia less anxious.
