When I met this doctor for the first time, he received me politely, introduced himself, and at once put me at ease by his friendly yet professional mannerism.
He had carefully looked into my medical records since I didn't need to give him
great details.
The necessary medical examination he carried out was quite satisfactory.
Upon my first impression, I felt that I could be comfortable being under the care of this doctor.
Hopefully I shall get to know him better during my future visits, so that I can build up good relationship with him, and maintain my confidence in the medical treatment he has to offer.
I did not expect to see Dr. Benjamin Ellis as my appointment was and has been for quite some time now with Dr Sonya Abrahams but unfortunately she had moved on to another department so you can imagine my disappointment on hearing this news at the time of my appointment. However, Benjamin took time, to explain my condition in full and the care required, he confirmed that he would ensure to oversee my progress for the future which made me feel more positive about my care at Charring Cross Hospital.
I saw Dr Ellis for the first time today. He was friendly, approachable and I felt at ease straight away. He listened to my concerns and explained in full all the options open to me to deal with my arthritis. I have always received prompt and friendly service from the Charing Cross Hospital Rheumatology staff and Dr Ellis is a welcome addition to the department.
Friendly, listened, helpful. Everything you would expect in a doctor.
This was my first visit and Dr Ellis listened to everything I said and he took it all on board, meaning he didn't interrupt and he explained everything as he went along. I came away feeling a little better knowing that I am going to get sorted out.
