I don’t feel like I get asked about my health, problems in any respect. I can’t express myself as I feel judged. I feel rushed in a 10 minute consultation so never get to talk about anything really. Mostly feel like I am a child in front of a headmaster!! My late partner’s doctor (different surgery) is so different, caring and always asked how he was coping, family problems, he felt so at ease. Even when I accompanied him to his 4 weekly appointments his Doctor was so nice and asked how how I was coping with things, he knew my family were going through such bad times. With my appointments I come out of the surgery feeling........ phew, what did that achieve, it was a waste of time, I do not feel good about anything. The TV programme GP, Behind Closed Doors is not what happens at all. They are playing up to the camera. Just so disheartened and have become so recluse, get panicky if I have to leave my home.
