I was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis in August 2009 and referred to Dr Azhar Ansari by a friend. Dr Ansari is very knowledgeable in his field and has always tried different combinations of treatment in order to stabilise my condition, particularly during bad flare ups. He is a patient and caring medic who treats not only the disease but the patient as well - he has greatly helped in improving my quality of life. I would recommend Dr Ansari to all those suffering with this disease.

I was referred to Dr Ansari after approaching ten years of misdiagnosis and confusion concerning what appeared to be Crohn's Disease which had never been confirmed. From my first meeting with Dr Ansari he assured me it was Crohn's and promised to do everything he could to make my life easier. Almost two years after our first meeting he has definately succeeded. A very talented, kind, and thoughtful doctor who I would not hesitate to recommed to others requiring his expertise

I saw Dr Ansari at East Surrey Hospital in Redhill after my GP referred me when I had some recurrent bowel problems and weight loss. Dr Ansari is extremely nice, kind, caring, listens well and has been very thorough. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending him to anyone who needs a gastroenterologist!
