I have a transplanted heart and attended Dr Zaman's clinic for an angiogram two years post-transplant. One of his team carried out the procedure but what I appreciated very much indeed was that while the team were cleaning up, putting away equipment when finished, Professor Zaman came to the head of the table to explain to me, clearly, concisely, and in layman's terms what he'd decided to do, and the reasons for that. I felt in good hands throughout, but this conversation at the end left me very impressed. I've had many procedures over the years and this treatment was respectful, dignified and professional. I was seen at The Freeman Hospital, Newcastle-upon-Tyne but this stupid system can't seem to identify it. :-)
