Dr Deering has diagnosed and treated a condition that has caused me many problems for a long time. His kind and caring approach has been of great benefit to me. His patience and willingness to provide the best treatment has far exceeded my expectations. It's always been possible to contact him easily whilst having my medication doses adjusted. This has made for a quick and effective improvement in my condition. I couldn't have asked for better treatment.

Dr Dearing was the final Consultant I saw after about 5 hours of tests etc at the hospital. My treatment, care and attention had been wonderful in every respect. My final consultation with Dr Deering was a continuation of the excellence I had experienced. Dr Deering was very reassuring, friendly and most professional. He explained all the results, in detail in a way that I was able to follow. I was able to ask questions, receiving answers and never feeling that time was an issue. Suffice to say I left the hospital a much happier man that the one who arrived 5-6 hours earlier. Thank you.

He located my problem and found a simple answer. He was willing to show me the results of his tests and explained them to me. We could work through issues together. He let me do my own researches for him and treated my results with respect. He treated me as an intelligent individual, not a case. He gave me time to let me talk through anything. His department had a lovely atmosphere.

Dr Deering is the sort of doctor who makes you feel better. You feel safe in his care. he is good at explaining things and answering your questions. He listens, is encouraging and you know he wants the best for you. The only way care could improve would be less time to wait for test results, (2 months seemed a long time).

Dr Deering is a friendly and plain speaking Consultant. I am under the care of Dr Deering for an ongoing complication following an acute condition. At this point in my recovery I have been under the care of other clinicians and greatly appreciate his honesty and direct approach. Previous vagueness and sympathy from others has been superseded by a management of my expectations, delivered in a sensitive manner. Each consultation has been followed up within a timely manner with further clinic appointments in writing.
