Dr Hassy cared for my husband after diagnosis confirmed Prostate Cancer. He was the only GP at the time who was qualified to administer my husband’s regular injections. He always greeted us at his door shook hands and would listen carefully to anything we needed to discuss always making us or singly confident you’ve been listened to. Sadly though he had to leave the practice for personal reasons to return to his home in Poland. He’s a great loss. I continued to see him after I very sadly lost my husband to Lewy Body Dementia, as well as when at times in my role as carer I wasn’t coping too well I knew if I spoke with Dr Hassy he’d listen ask a few questions giving a few answers to mine and advice on what to do next, and he’d still find the time for a little general chat and at that time offering help at any time to just call for an appointment. Now that he’s gone and my Reg GP recently retired I’m currently ‘between doctors’ a little unsettling, i and many others keep hoping he may one day return. A lovely man and greatly missed by many.

Dr Hasdy is the only doctor at Theale as far as we’ve been made aware who is able to administer treatment specific to prostatectomy cancer. He is polite will listen and had treated once for another problem but he is the only doctor other than ourcregusteted GP who we know. We have respect for his knowledge and integrity. Something that is quite hard to find other than he with this ability.

One thing that sets Dr Hassy apart from other doctors is that he can be seen to be actively listening and ensures that a patient understands what is going on in their bodies. When one is ill, you want a doctor who will not just treat you as statistics and eager to quickly get rid of you and see the next patient. You want to understand what is going on in your body and how to deal with it. I have never given an online review of any of the doctors I have seen, but when a doctor goes the extra mile, it is only natural to want others know about the good work he is doing. Well done Dr Hassy, keep up the good work!
