I have had a few consultations with Dr Sphan and she has been the first GP that has excelled my expectations in my 4 decades of using GP service. She is a very good listener, knowledgable, sharp, caring and empathetic, and does not treat you like a number. I have been touched by her level of care and understanding of my problems; physical, emotional and psychological. She has taken the trouble of highlighting issue and discussing them in detail, where most GPs would have left well alone. My chronic back pain of 5 years disappeared within two hours of taking the medication she prescribed. The medication was not strictly designed for back pain, but her smart thinking resulted in my pain disappearing after 5 years of suffering and lack of sleep. I am back in the gym and life is back to normal. I had seen a few doctors and had consultants before, and non had her insight and knowledge to suggest an effective medicine for my chronic back pain. I think NHS could do with a few more doctors like Dr Sphan.

Terrible Dr. Devoid of empathy. Clear misunderstanding and lack of any respect re: mental illness. Apparently highly sensitive and egotistical and far more concerned with her receptionists triaging her patients, rather than actually helping them. A pitiful example of how negligent the NHS has become. Avoid, unless you find it helpful to be fobbed off with pills.
