I was referred to Mr Pavlidis at St Thomas by East Surrey due to a heart condition detected whilst hill walking. I had three stents installed during a 24 hour visit to St Thomas which was carried out in a timely fashion. Management of the operating theatre was effective and I was sedated but conscious throughout, and thus able to advise and be consulted when and if needed. Care throughout the procedure was first rate and considerate, and Mr Pavlidis went the extra mile when I needed to contact him after the procedure due to some more local problems with aftercare outside his jurisdiction. I would have no problem recommending him to anyone needing similar surgery.
