I am so grateful for my Rheumatology care in the hands of Dr Malaviya. It is rare that you find such an excellent capable doctor who also has such amazing people skills. My case is a complex one with many factors to take into account. Dr Malaviya listens, is empathetic and considers the best course of action rather than following a list of inappropriate hoops for me to jump through. When you are in so much pain being actively listened to and understood is such a battle but not so with Dr Malaviya. He does this quite naturally. Dr Malaviya always explains his findings, and the reasons for a certain course of action as well as any side effects a course of treatment may have. Dr Malaviya is a Godsend to me, an asset to the NHS and an exemplar to the medical profession. I can’t thank him or rate him highly enough.

I was very pleased with my visit with Dr Malaviya this week. He made me feel at ease, he listened and understood my explanation of my symptoms. He explained simply what he believed was the cause of my pain and swellings were and after years of arthritic pain, I now have a plan and a way forward. Dr Malaviya was very personable, knowledgeable and put me at ease. I came away from this consultation feeling very positive about my future treatment.

Before I came to see Dr Malaviya, I felt my situation was truly hopeless as I struggled with debilitating symptoms, particularly fatigue, and a lack of answers. I am so thankful for his time to get to the cause of my symptoms, for giving me hope, and for the treatment offered which has made such a difference. He listened to me with patience and understanding, he reassured me, and took the time to explain everything and answer all of my questions. Dr Malaviya is a very caring and considerate consultant. He listens carefully and offers clear explanations of a complex disease. He is willing to discuss a range of treatment options and acts quickly on those agreed options. He also looks at my overall health and other conditions which may be related..
