All four of us have had appointments with Dr Turner over the years since our children were little and have found her to be a good listener. She has a calm demeanor, listens quietly then asks questions and suggests a solution or a number of solutions to consider. We have found her to be knowledgeable and professional in her approach. In fact, we have asked for her to see us when booking an appointment numerous times.
My experience of Dr Turner is that she lacks empathy and fails to show compassion. She does not appear to listen and certainly does not offer any solutions.
Sadly, I have not been happy with Dr Turner, from a couple cold and unhelpful experiences. I always prefer to ask if there our other doctors avaliable while getting an appointment as she doesn’t help, but just google the symptoms, really!?
I am surprised to read the good reviews here, because my two experiences with Dr Turner have led me to avoid seeing her. I don't doubt her scientific and medical abilities; however I found her very cold, uncaring and did not feel she listened to me. In fact, I felt accused by her manner, as if I had been lying about my medical history, because it wasn't (for understandable reasons - use of the out of hours and illness experienced abroad) on my record. I would not feel comfortable sharing my symptoms and concerns with her given this adversarial nature.
By far the more understanding of the doctors at this practice.
