I arranged a telephone consultation by visiting the surgery to find my test results. Dr Mustil phoned me exactly at the prearranged time and we discussed further treatment. Yet two days later I receive a letter from the surgery asking me to contact them to arrange a time to get my results! Can I suggest the person who sends out these letters checks the system more carefully!!!!!

I do not go to the doctors often. But I had a lump on my neck that was getting bigger and worrying me, so I went and saw Dr Mustill. And I'm very glad that I did. She explained that it was nothing to worry about, but as it was causing me anxiety, arranged to have it removed. She then suggested a general check up, height, weight, blood pressure etc. It turned out that my blood pressure was very high, but I had absolutely no idea. Medication was prescribed and follow up appointments arranged. My blood pressure is now normal, and I feel absolutely no difference in myself since taking the medication. All thanks to Dr Mustill and her gentle suggestion of a general check up.

Dr Mustill was reassuring but firm with me as I often dismiss my symptoms and she sent me straight to hospital where I underwent surgery the same day to remove my appendix. Her communication with the hospital meant I was seen immediately. I am very grateful for her help.
