Dr Brackenridge is an excellent diabetologist. She is very pragmatic in her approach and willing to work with patients to get results which are the best balance of HbA1c and lifestyle considerations.
I have variously turned up with some horrible scenarios, and Dr Brackenridge has worked with me to find the best way to deal with them - and not just the way to achieve the target HbA1c. She is an excellent example of not letting best be the enemy of the good - she understands that people with diabetes have complicated lives which place target control out of reach, and so will work to get the next best.
