My husband went to him on numerous occasions with the same issue of pain and discomfort. He was told by him regularly that, ‘it’s your age’, ‘your imagining it’, ‘there’s nothing wrong with you’. By chance, he was seen by a locum at the Conquest Hospital who examined him and discovered an abnormal prostate. Following further frantic appointments, he was diagnosed with mestatic prostate cancer which had spread to both his bones and lymph nodes. With a PSA of 64 and a Gleason score of 9. Diagnosis TERMINAL. To date he has been put through 4 rounds of Radiotherapy and 2 rounds of Chemotherapy. This so called GP has made us go through a living hell for the past 5 years and has just been given a life expectancy of just 12 months. We are all devastated, frightened and so so angry with Chopra’s incompetence. He will be leaving 3 daughters and a wife.

When is this hard working, efficient, polite and brilliant doctor returning, i have been treated by him for the last 10-11 years and have had no reason to complain about anything he has ever done, all the while he is missing, the surgery is, in my opinion, worse off for his absence. Get him back NOW

Dr Chopra is an excellent doctor. All those working at his 2 surgeries are caring, always able to get an appointment unlike other practices in the area. The recent court case said that he should be reinstated immediately. Why hasn't this happened? I'd like to see those making life difficult for GPs with too much paperwork put in the same hours as doctors.

Dr. Chopra has been our GP for many years and we have always found him to be ready to listen and give advice and help and prompt referrals when needed. Both my husband and I have complete trust in him. He has been particularly kind and helpful with advice when my husband has been diagnosed with Alzheimer's. My Diabetic nurse, Theresa is always available for help and advice, we find Maria Bull very efficient and the surgery staff is friendly and helpful. Thank you for all your care Ursula & Roger Combes
