Terrible GP that doesn’t need know what the hell shes doing. Without going into too much detail I had previously spoken to another GP about starting a medication, all she needed to do was prescribe the said medication. However she said didn’t know the dosage and therefore wouldn’t prescribe the tablets I need. She told me to make another appointment with a different doctor?! I was absolutely dumbfounded, she made me feel stupid like I didn’t know what I was talking about (I’m a qualified nurse). Once I was home I located the information on the medication in the BNF (all medical professionals have access to this) and the dosage is clearly documented. I should of in hindsite asked her to use a BNF but as her patient shouldn’t have to do that. I am considering taking this even further and complaining to the GMC, especially having seen that this has happened before from previous comments on this page.

awful doctor does not listen to you your in and out without any form of examination. She talks or should I say mumbles so you can not hear what she is saying. Very antisocial lady and very abrupt at times. Would not recommend what so ever. About time Desford Medical Centre got a new doctor in as just is dreadful.

Told i could not discuss more than one issue as the appointment was 10 mins long only. Failed to examine me at all, was not interested in anything other than getting me out the room asap. After 4 minutes told me to make another appointment im a few weeks with another Dr to discuss any other issues. Terrible Dr, would never see again.

Dr anisa caratela is the worst doctor I've visited. She rushes her appointments and makes her mind up within seconds of seeing you without any physical examination. Definitely won't be visiting her again!
