Dr metters diagnosed my bipolar early on and had been a fantastic help through the last 5 years even though I have dipped in an out of the metal hexlth system and had issues taking my medication. He is now fully hands on in my treatment and I would have committed suicide if it wasn't for his care and ongoing trust and help no matter what I do he always helps and makes me see the positive side of my diagnosis and tries to get me better in not there yet but in sure with his help I can do it .Natalie x

Would not recommend at all. Unprofessional, poor teamwork with other MH professionals and quite condescending at times. People-skills could do with some work. There are better Psychiatric consultants in the area.

When it comes to mental health care, this doctor is by far the worst and exemplifies why the NHS is so behind on mental health. Where to begin with this dreadful doctor? Didn't listen at all, gave a "diagnosis" after a few minutes, then had the audacity to tell me I was wrong. To this day I am no longer able to see a doctor because of his diagnosis and his failure to pay attention. Did the same to my dad at a different appointment. Truly awful and shouldn't be allowed to work in his position.

Met Dr metters at Bridgend hospital with my partner who is going through a very rough time seemed like nobody could tell me what was going on with her until he assessed her this process is quite personal but worth it this dr actually knows what is going on in someone's life you learn things you never new about yourself and your partner . Be prepared to be shocked I thought I was doing things right by myself without looking for help with dire consequences. But whith the help of dr metters And the help of Sian Davis my partners cpn who is working. Her arse off. Only problem as is with every thing NHS these professionals are struggling to supply a service with the funds available to them . If you are lucky To see Dr metters you'll be rewarded with a psychiatrist who will help you
