I had Dr hussey as my doctor for a long time,he was kind listened to me, but he let me down on one occasion ,I am a genuinely disabled person,ex soldier, I can't walk more than few steps ,I use wheelchair & motability scooter, I applied for disablement benefit and asked Dr gusset to help with a letter to accompany addenbrooks letter confirming my disability,he refused saying he could not add anything to addenbrooks assesment,I was disappointed he took this attitude ,I persuid it and eventually if I paid £30 he would supply a letter. My application was successfully but I was told the letter from my GP was important, so I nearly lost out,for this reason I consider this doctor let me down ,& I've never forgotten it.

He's an amazing person. I was supposed to see an endocrinologist and my appointment was established in 4 months. I was under medication and I needed an endocrinologist's opinion about the dosage. Dr. Hussey sent my check to one of his endocrinologist colleagues and made sure I get the right medication.

Both my husband and I are doctors, and Dr Hussey is our GP. He has cared for us and our three children for many years. He has a kind and professional manner, and we trust his advice completely.
