A serious and astute doctor, he may have saved my life several years ago paying attention to concerns that other doctors had dismissed and recognising I had a serious septic infection. He has been my own and my family’s doctor now for over ten years, has taken care of my two sons as they have grown, always speaking to them not over them and in a kind and patient way.. I think some people might find his manner brusk, but our experience is of a skilled diagnostician who gives focused, thoughtful and kind care

Even though this GP took 25 mins with the previous patient and I understand there is allocated time I was told straight away I had only 10 mins to say what was wrong. The GPs office was a mess and looked dirty. The GP did not wear gloves or washed his hands prior to examining my body. The GP told me flat out he did not know what was wrong with me so ‘let’s just wait see what happens’. Appalling.

I’ve seen Dr Hudson several times for myself and my children. He is always thorough , really listens and remembers previous information. Recently I saw him and he really spent the time to listen, talk through and discuss options. Excellent GP .

I have been a patient of Dr Hodson's for over 8 years and feel very lucky to have such a wonderful GP. This was particularly borne out just over a year ago when thanks to a very quick referral by him I received treatment that has prolonged my life. I have always found him easy to talk to, he treats me as an individual and he truly listens. Also I know that I can contact him with any concerns, and not be made to feel a nuisance. I cannot recommend Dr Hodson highly enough.

I visit this doctor with my sons, who are both under 3. He always listens to everything I am saying, and makes me feel that my opinion is valid. He takes our health issues seriously. He is never dismissive, and always courteous. He takes time for me, and for each of my children, who both feel very comfortable with him. We really appreciate the fact that he speaks directly to them, not over them, and appears to have an awareness of their whole general health and wellbeing, even when considering something quite specific. But what we like most about him is that he really knows what he is doing, and makes us better!, prescribing what we need, but not more than we need.
