I'm a patient with COPD and have had asthma since childhood. I now know (usually) what I need to do and take to keep things under control. My previous GP (for over 25 years) was great and helped me get to this stage. When he retired I was very concerned about whether I'd have as good a relationship with this new young chap, but I've been lucky again.
He listens carefully and then advises, so I still feel in control of my condition with his support.
I hope he stays here a long, long time.
