It is very important that everybody in Sprowston and Thorpe hear all I am saying. This so-called gp does not know what he's doing. He made a gross error regarding a diagnosis he gave me.I visited him for the first time ever for a review of physio I'd been having on my over worked hand.I always only ever believed I had an over worked hand, which was caused by too much handwriting during my employment. This so called gp looked at me, shaking his head at me, before I'd even got into his room.He said immediately that he never for a second thought I could have hurt my hand through such hard work.I had never seen him before, and he had made his diagnosis before he'd even set eyes on me.He then just did a bit of moving of my arm, and my legs.He got me to catch paper between my fingers, which I did quickly and very easily. He was quite disorganised, and he rushed. When he briefly spoke, he told me to hurry up when I was trying to reply. He was abrupt. Then, few told me, in a nervous tone, that I had multiple sclerosis. He was so adamant that I had this dreadful muscle-wasting, life changing disease. He did all he could to convince me.I obviously believed him, as I'd never known before this, that gps make terrible errors.I also believed him as he convinced me I had MS, because of all the things he said, such as, I'd have to change my life so much in order to cope!To cut to the chase, I had to wait a whole year until a consultant, who obviously knew what he was doing, did PROPER tests, which showed I did not have MS, but I had just hurt my hand through dedication to my job and hence, over work. This consultant was very cross with andrew few for telling me I had multiple sclerosis before even ever checking with any detailed or proper or thorough tests."He should never have told you anything about multiple sclerosis before checking with proper hospital tests", the consultant said.Gps should not unnecessarily alarm anybody with such a diagnosis unless they have definite proof!andrew few made this gross misdiagnosis. He had me totally believing him.He caused me such an enormous upheaval on my life.I did not even speak to many of my friends, family and work colleagues, as I am a strong person, and I kept to myself what few had made me believe to be true.I kept it to myself so as not to worry my loved ones.I am a strong, fair, sincere, honest, decent, caring person.I put others first, and I protect those about whom I care.I am appalled and disgusted about few.He was subsequently so rude about his gross malpractice when I had the misfortune to see him recently! He made light of his gross error, and tried to deny it, and pass it off as nothing. He did not care.He did not take responsibility for his gross, huge misdiagnosis blunder, which affected my life, not his!!!!It's a huge thing to misdiagnose! It's hardly minor. It's not the same as telling a patient they've got a cough when they've got a cold!Telling a patient they've got multiple sclerosis, a serious, life-threatening disease, when they've only got an over worked hand, is malpractice, negligence, and should not be brushed over, as few later did! What a poor and inappropriate attitude few has got by brushing over his gross diagnosis, as if I do not matter, and as if it's okay that he has made such a gross misdiagnosis!Neighbours of mine have had bad experiences with few too, and have felt so strongly that they will never trust him, that they have left this surgery!Do not ever trust few with your health!!!!
