after a number of years i have been struggling to get well. Dr Duckworth listened to my symptons. the treatments really happened and I feel that i am getting somewhere to a cure for what ever i have, It's hard to find a doctor who understands. breath of freash air.

Was nervous about the procedure, but Dr Duckworth and his assistant put my mind at rest, and the procedure went very smoothly.

I have found Dr Duckworth experienced, trustworthy and relaxed during my visits to this surgery. I do feel there should have been a follow up appointment after my last visit as I had a septic area which would have been less of a concern if addressed with an automatic appointment in this instance. I do feel this Dr is the most experienced at this establishment. Overall I feel there is a need to address patients concerns at this surgery as with all the information that is on line often is at odds with the Dr's knowledge and what is expressed on the internet. A disadvantage that Dr today as compared with Dr when I was a child is that the Dr workload is far greater these days and so the lack of personal data about a patient that a Dr would hold in his head is far less. With the current system patients feel like a number and consequently do not have a close relationship with their GP. I view this as a back step, albeit inevitable. I will further add that the Dr's assistant was a most pleasant and convivial help during my last attendance. In ending I would like to say I like this opportunity and the access to respond to my treatment. This is a way forward so long as people are civil. Thanks. R. Whiteway-Roberts

Dr Duckworth is always friendly and addresses me by name (which goes a very long way). He is very thorough and I always find him easy to talk to. I have seen him for various reasons over the past 10 years and trust him with my health and well being. The new medical centre is clean and the staff are all helpful and friendly. I would recommend Dr Duckworth unreservedly.

Dr Duckworth and with his team have given my family, over many years a wonderful service. Not only medically but with amazing though fullness and wonderful care at all times. Constructive suggestions? Well as a family we are very lucky to have him as our doctor and I would recommended him to anyone. The Meads Medical Centre has so much to offer a patient and the whole team is willing to help, advise and support when its needed.
