Ended up in hospital as my symptoms were not followed up on as I was told they would be.

I'm writing this review quite a long time after the incident- but last year (2018) I was going through an acute mental health crisis and saw Dr.Carter. He was amazing throughout. He explained to me and my wife what his preferred approach to helping me was but also outlined another possible course of action- and though it wasn't his preferred approach- he left the decision to me. In the end I decided to go with the second course of action and Dr.Carter set up everything that needed to happen, explained in great detail, including timescale, what would need to occur and made sure that everything was taken care of. If he hadn't have put those things in place, I'd be in a very bad place. Dr Carter is an excellent listener, explains everything in layman's terms so that you're never overwhelmed and always makes you feel as though you're important. His approach is soundly medical while also having a very caring and sincere approach. It's the best possible combination and I can't fault him in any way. I have since seen Dr.Carter on a number of occasions and his approach is consistent. An excellent doctor and one I would have no hesitation in seeing again.

Found Dr Carter to be caring and very helpful and felt confident of his treatment. He is very softly spoken so I have to remember to wear my hearing aid.
