Not a patient any more sadly my husband died and I moved. Dr pitseali was always available and I was sad to move away. This practice is the best I ever used. Lesly Batcheler.

We have moved to this area and registered back in November 2019. Since then, the experience our family had in this practice is all negative. We moved from Sutton and this transition caused so much inconvenience, delays and frustrations in getting basic referrals. Comparing this to our previous GP in Wallington (Park Road Medical ) is like night and day. To begin with, their front line people,(e.g. receptionists) are appalling, bordering on either having lack of common sense or maybe not wanting to do service at all. The waiting times on the phone are awful, I dont know if under resourcing(if that is the cause, or need for changing staff) can be tolerated for this long. All of the reviews you read about this Practice is negative when it comes to front line service. I had to request for a basic referral to a developmental paediatrician because the previous GP in Sutton made an error (it was referred to medical paediatrician) which caused problems in the paediatrics department in Epsom General Hospital. This would take minutes as I have the necessary paperwork. I was being given an appointment in 4 weeks because it was not classified as an emergency - talk about having a bit of flexibility. Luckily, my son had an emergency appointment for his temperature so I was able to convince the GP to also provide the referral. More than a week after, the hospital paediatrics department rang me following up on the referral as they had not received any in the system. I phoned the reception and after the usual "long wait" I was told the referral was already sent. I was not convinced by this answer so I popped down the practice to speak to the receptionist. I found out that the referral made was for a Speech and Language Therapist which was not requested. It was even sent to the one stop shop in Surrey. I had to assist in wording the errors because the receptionist could not understand why I was insisting that it should be the "developmental paediatrian" and not Speech and Language, which my so is already going through. So after 3 months of circus which started in the old GP, we are still nowhere near a proper referral. Unbelievable. This is just one of the many negative reviews you read about this GP and as noted in those reviews, the practice does not seem to care about doing something about it. I called the other GP near Banstead as an alternative so let's see where this referral takes us -maybe we should have registered in that other GP in the first place. Note this review is not directed to the doctor noted above, it is directed to the whole practice.

I have been a patient of Dr Pitsiaeli's since before Heathcote and he has always made any appointments as pleasant as they can be, given the circumstances. He has always been affable, caring and good-humoured, and leaves me in no doubt he has my best interests at heart.

So far as my experience with doctors goes Dr Pitsiaeli gave me my best ever experience for visiting a GP. He was sincere, and came across as a good listener and although the appointment was not particularly short, his feedback was easy to understand and not complicated. at the same time he was thorough with his diagnosis.
