My 83 year old Dad passed away in January and unfortunately was under the "care" of Dr Duran at the Q.E. He had a very rare form of bone marrow cancer called Myelofibrosis which required oral chemo and a who host of other medications. His many ailments were dismissed by Dr Duran who insisted that as his blood count was improving then so was his quality of life. He wasn't treated like a person at all and the MacMillan nurse Rachel Benson was equally as dismissive.

Nothing is too much trouble for this Doctor, she is professional in all that she does and also has the caring human side. She has been my Consultant Haemotologist for some years now and I trust her totally.
