Very caring and supportive.
Went over and above to support me and help manage my pain with subsequent daily follow up telephone calls to check on my welfare and progress.

I’m not great with needles and I was listened to and treated with great care to minimise any discomfort. I came out of the anaesthetic quickly feeling good, in no pain and recovered fully very soon after.

Amit is a Consultant Anaesthetist at Guy's & St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust, London, UK, and the Cleveland Clinic London.
He is an Ultrasound Regional Anaesthesia (USRA) enthusiast and completed the first fellowship in Regional Anaesthesia at Guy's & St Thomas'. He holds the ESRA European Diploma in Regional Anaesthesia.
At Guy's & St Thomas' he is the Lead for Regional Anaesthesia.
Amit was appointed as the first chairman of the London Society for Regional Anaesthesia (LSORA) in October 2010.
Amit was President of Regional Anaesthesia UK (RA-UK) from 2018-2021 and also sat on the council of the European Society of Regional Anaesthesia (ESRA).during this time.
He is extremely passionate about the delivery of education in USRA and teaches nationally and internationally.
He has created a series of Ultrasound Regional Anaesthesia Video tutorials on YouTube for the LSORA channel with the help of his regional fellows.
He has published on General Anaesthesia-Free Breast Surgery, and authored numerous review articles and editorials on numerous aspects of regional anaesthesia.
