I saw Dr. Mistry about a month ago in Nightgale hospital - he made me feel very at ease - he asked very relevant, probing questions and was very thorough in his approach. I have suffered with an eating disorder for 10+ years and seen various Doctors and professionals throughout that time - none have been as positive and supportive as Dr. Mistry. He was was detailed in explaining my options to me, advising what he thought might be best and what that treatment entailed, I didn't once feel like I was being rushed throughout the session and he genuinely seemed to care; he also took the time to explain what would happen next. I can't recommend Dr. Mistry enough - thank you for your time and for your help.

After trying for over 2 weeks to find a psychiatrist who could see me urgently, Dr Mistry was the only one who made a plan to help me under short notice. Dr Mistry was attentive and took time to understand my concerns and provided options to help. I found him approachable and friendly from the start and would recommend him.

Dr Mistry was my consultant and I am so incredibly grateful for that. He always went to great lengths to put me at ease and it is clear that he genuinely cares about his patients. He made me feel equally included in my care plan and always listened to what I had to say whilst offering helpful and appropriate advice. I can’t emphasise enough how much of a difference it makes to be treated by somebody who ensures that he and his team are doing everything they possibly can to help you get better. I feel so supported, and whilst I still have a long way to go, i’m more confident than I ever have been that recovery is possible for me.

Dr Mistry treated me for my issues with eating, and co-existing psychological distress. Having had engagement with a few different healthcare professionals in this medical area, I could not uphold Dr Mistry's practice more. Whilst remaining professional at all times, Dr Mistry treated me with kindness, patience and consideration. He listened carefully to what I had to say and did not presume to put my issues 'in a box'. I really appreciated his non-judgmental approach and a style of practice that both realistically acknowledged my issues, but that was also optimistic and forward thinking. If you have the opportunity to be provided care from Dr Mistry, I would highly recommend doing so. I would also say that his expertise in exercise health/addictions is hugely beneficial, as these issues can go hand in hand with eating issues.
