Hello I am a mother of a three month old baby girl. I attended Bishop Auckland Out of Hours Surgery ( Urgent Care), County Durham. I attended for an Appointment i made for my little girl on New Years Day 2015 who had been poorly since the 29th Dec 2014 after a number of visits to our local surgery, when i arrived with my father and my daughter we were the only people in the waiting room, we were called by this Doctor Amar Potey and he looked at her and checked her pulse etc, and said she had Bronchiolitis and called her a happy wheezer, and sent her home after i explained she was head bobing and was struggling to breathe and could not keep her feed down and when she was being sick she was bringing all her antibiotics back with the milk, when i went to change her before getting her dressed again he seemed to be rushing us and not happy that i was changing her. after going her she was still not well still couldnt feed etc, i took her back to my normal surgery, where she was seen for a matter of five minutes and childrens ward at Darlington Memorial hospital were expecting us, after we got to the childrens ward she was put onto oxygen and given a feed pipe with her feeds reduced and when i explained to both my surgery and Darlington Childrens Ward pediatric doctor, i was told the same thing by both of the doctors that when we were at Urgent Care she should of been admitted straight away then. so i would not recommend this doctor to anyone and after looking on the internet on linkedin.com he has only been qualified since 2014.
