Thrilled that Dr Gililand is working at Linden Medical Centre. She listens, gives sensible advice and had an understanding head on her shoulders! Long may she stay. Have seen her twice (once with my son and once myself) and both times she has been very practical and realistic.

I used to see Dr. A. Gilliland at Rosemead surgery and I'm very sorry she no longer works there. She is the best doctor I ever had. Not only she is an excellent professional, she is also a people person, warm and attentive toward her patients and their problems.

My wife has had a short notice appointment with Dr Gilliland in this practice this morning and this doctor was so rude and obnoxious and so upset my wife that she walked out of the appointment rather than remain and be subjected to further abuse. Most of us expect our GPs to have some qualities of empathy and care in their approach to serving patients but this was entirely missing with Dr Gilliland. I am appalled and angry with this “superiority complex – I’m doing you a favour so don’t interrupt me” stance. This is not the first time our family has been poorly treated by Doctors in the practice and we have decided to register at another surgery as the service at Holyport is , in our view, unforgivable. I recommend anyone thinking of joining this surgery to think again and go elsewhere.
