I would recommend Mr Kahn without hesitation. He is very friendly and easy to talk to and explains things in a way you can understand.

I would highly recommend Mr Khan who I saw at the Nuffield in Leeds. He took the time to listen to my problems at the initial consultation and formulated an excellent care plan when reviewing results of my MRI and X Rays. Mr E K

In the early part of this year I suffered horrific back pain, sciatic nerve leg pain and loss of strength in my left foot and big toe. Having been a back pain sufferer for many years. These symptoms brought me under the care of Mr Khan at the Leeds General infirmary. Mr Khan spoke to me on several occasions whilst I was admitted in the LGI. He was most informative about what was going on with my lower back and how I could benefit from the various procedures that he could perform. I was made aware of the risks involved, but I personally felt reassured by this gentlemen. Having discussed my thoughts and listened to his recommendations I opted for a non invasive epidural injection. May I say at this point I was dealt with extremely fast via the NHS service up to this point. The epidural injection worked extremely well, their was minimal pain and life was almost back to normal, unfortunately in my case it only lasted 10 days. It was evident that I needed to see Mr Khan to discuss the next steps. I went through the procedure of GP referral and consultations. In my case this was all done very fast and I'd like to thank Mr Khan's secretarial staff for assisting with my case. An appointment was made for me to under go a micro discectomy to be performed at the Nuffield Hospital in Leeds. I was treated in a very professional manner by all the staff and discussed the procedure again with Mr Khan. Prior to the procedure being carried out. I wasn't walking very well and on a large cocktail of pain killers that allowed me to function to some extent through the day. On returning to my room post operation, it was immediately apparent that I no longer had any pain what so ever, apart from the incision point and within one hour I was walking around my room with good posture. My family and I were truly amazed with the difference. Over the next 6 weeks I rested as prescribed and carried out the various physio activities shown to me. These activities I have had to work into my daily routine. The strange sensations that I had experienced in my legs and foot gradually disappeared, I was walking 400 - 500 hundred meters by day two post operation and walking the distances I previously walked by week 2. I am now six weeks post operation, and have just re visited Mr Khan for my six week operation check up. I have no pain in my lower back or leg and have just recently started undertaking sport activities again, slow jog, swimming and mountain biking. I am deeply grateful to Mr Khan and all his staff for allowing me to return to my daily life and wouldn't hesitate to discuss my procedure with anyone that required a patients view of the operation and aftercare. Many Thanks Neil Fowkes

In October 2015 age 16 I had corrective spinal surgery for idiopathic scoliosis, Mr Khan was my surgeon and made sure that I understood everything pre-surgery. The surgery went very well, the nurses that looked after me were very kind and I was home 5 days after surgery. Whilst I was in hospital, they kept me comfortable and almost pain-free, I was soon out of bed walking about more and more each day. Six months on, I am pain free, I feel more confident, I go swimming regularly and my recent x-rays shows the difference, with my waist being perfectly in line. Thank you Mr Khan.
