Dr Laird is a terribly rude woman. She made no attempt to even appear interested in my consultation and displayed no sensitivity or understanding to the nature of my complaint. I appreciate that our GP's are very busy and have many patients to see, however I was made to feel as I was wasting her time. She even sighed at me at one point making me very upset. I requested to see a different GP the following week and I am now undergoing investigations at my local Hospital following a referral. I do not feel that this GP has any place in general medicine. Her nature and lack of personality would probably be better suited to Surgery or Anaesthetics where the patients are asleep requiring very little communication. I found her patronising and dismissive and I have even considered changing GP practices due to her.
