Reviews
The care I got was , as always warm and friendly. I always come away feeling I have had the best care possible.
I am a patient of Dr Birtle and cannot recommend her highly enough. She is very supportive and reassuring at the times when it matters most.
I feel safe in her hands.
Her open, friendly manner during consultations and follow up meetings is a breath of fresh air.
As well as her commitment to her day job she is a great supporter of cancer research and innovation and of the work of local cancer charities the latter of which she supports with a great singing voice at local fund raising events.

Dr Birtle is always friendly, professional, and takes the time to listen to your concerns. (Always asks about my job as a wedding photographer).
She is disarming whilst giving the impression she is always at the top of her game.
Dr. Birtles listens to my concerns and questions, and always explains everything clearly to me. She and her staff are very helpful.
I first met Dr Birtle at the Royal Lancaster infirmary, she explained the treatment I would receive in a clear and concise manner, and I found myself put at ease with her professionalism, enthusiasm and a very caring manner, she made sure that I understood things before I left the appointment, I have had numerous appointments and a session of radiotherapy plus a drug trial, and I found Dr Birtle was always there for me and willing to listen to what I had to say, an excellent Doctor.
