Reviews
Allways prompt, excellent care & consideration, a pleasure to see Dr Birtle.
My brother was diagnosed with testicular cancer in May 2015. He was devastated with the diagnosis and was referred to Dr Birtle. She saw him within days and from this first appointment my brother was given hope, and felt that Dr Birtle cared about him personally. I accompanied him to every appointment and Dr Birtle spoke openly to both of us giving all the details of the cancer and the treatment. My brother was given a course of intensive chemotherapy and followed all the advice given by Dr Birtle. He is now really well . I cannot speak highly enough of her care for her patients but also of her expertise as an oncologist. We returned for a check up appointment yesterday 2nd May 2017 and Dr Birtle was still as encouraging and caring, greeting my brother like an old friend.
I must also commend the staff at the Rosemere Centre for their care and compassion. Gold star treatment from all involved.!
I have known Dr Birtle for 4 years since I began treatment for bladder and prostate cancer. She has always treated me with courtesy and respect and given me her full attention. She has explained clearly and openly the nature of my illness and how she thinks it should be treated. She has been prepared to listen to my concerns and act upon them.
I do not believe that I could have received better treatment anywhere.
Had a routine post-surgery follow-up meeting with Dr Birtle yesterday, and she was as professional, engaged, courteous and informative as any I have had with her over the past 6 years. She puts patients at ease, explains things very clearly, is efficient but not rushed. I would recommend her without reservation.
Dr Birtle is a wonderful Lady and an exceptional Doctor. Treats patients like friends and takes time to explain treatment and options. A wonderful bedside manner, and she goes that extra mile to ensure you get the treatment you need. Nothing is too much trouble. Her care fills you with confidence and is a great boost to moral. Many many thanks for the kindness and care you have given me over the years.
P.S.
The Nurses at Preston and your secretary are also brilliant.
