What a wonderful person. Put me at my ease straight away.
Having several other medical issues beside prostate cancer I was fearful and uncertain whether to even go ahead with any treatment.
Dr Birtle explained everything in detail. Showed concern over my current conditions and other avenues she wanted exploring in order to rule out possible problems during treatment.
She listened to all our questions and answered them in an honest and caring manner. I just had to give her a hug before I left our first meeting.
Within a few days of seeing her I had a change of a current medication, an appointment for a full bone scan and had started treatment.
This lady knows her stuff, she is charming, helpful and friendly whilst still being professional.
The NHS has an angel working for them. I cannot recommend or praise her highly enough. Thank you Doctor B
