From the moment we met Dr Birtles I knew my Dad was in the best and safest hands possible. Dr Birtles, along with her Team, has made all our visits more bearable. Each time we have met, I am struck by the way she interacts with her patients and family members, putting them at ease, showing great kindness and empathy, listening to any concerns and clarifying any questions with great sensitivity and tremendous professionalism. I cannot praise her highly enough and am so, so grateful for her care and support. I feel extremely lucky to have her looking after us and will never be able to thank her enough for helping us negotiate this, most difficult and extremely challenging, unwanted ‘journey’.
