This is the second time I have had an extremely disappointing experience with Dr. Mellule. Not only was she rude and unprofessional, but she also discredited me by insisting that my condition was purely psychological, despite documented evidence of an underlying medical issue. Despite my clear symptoms and medical documentation, Dr. Mellule refused to provide a medical certificate, dismissing my concerns entirely. She on her own brings down the whole reputation of the Barkentine practice.

I was gobsmacked at her rudeness. The phone call lasted under 8 mins. I understand GP are under a lot of pressure but her rudeness and unkindness was terrible. No empathy or understating at all. Zero professionalism. Who has given her right to treat people like this? Why her GP practice is not stopping her and why GMC not doing anything

Dr Alfiya Mellule single handedly brings down the ratings of this practice (Barkantine). She is the Doctor from benny hill show, only not in funny way. Zero professionalism and shouldn't be front facing any patients at all

Dr Mellule was unprofessional and rude at my appointment. I needed a physical examination and she was quite rough and gave me no warning for what she was about to do. Upon good news that there was nothing physically wrong I then enquired why I was experiencing my symptoms and she told me to just “stop thinking about it”. She also implied that I’d exaggerated my symptoms on the phone. Her duty of care was appalling and upon reading a large number of other negative reviews about her I would not recommend.
