Dr Alexandra Byrne At Schopwick NHS Surgery, in Bushey's quiet embrace, There’s a beacon of healing, one with utmost grace, A partner in General Practice, revered and admired, Dr Alexandra Byrne, her expertise acquired. She's the epitome of knowledge, that rare breed, A methodical clinician, in each patient's need. While digital days breed studied disinterest, Dr Byrne displays care, a quality some times not blessed. In a world where clocks dictate our pace, Her patient interest shines, a vanishing trace. Professional pride defines her just aim, A devotion to healing, her passion aflame. But alas, Doctor Byrne is now fading light, An endangered species, succumbing to the night. A.I.'s rise looms, a future we face, Patient interest dismissed in its cold embrace. The ambitious goal, seeing one in five, Leaves little room for compassion to thrive. Sick, diseased, and disabled, claim to be treated, But true wellness? Sadly, it’s often defeated. Yet not for us, nor for Alexandra Byrne, We stand united, destined to adjourn. In this brave new world, digital's domain, Our extinction awaits, bittersweet refrain. So let us celebrate this experienced clinician, Whose care and compassion deserve recognition. Dr. Alexandra, a rare gem indeed, Fading reminder of the human touch we all need. ++++++++++++ Jan 08, 2023
